Project | 01 Muriel Spark
The "Muriel Spark 100" was a year-long project spearheaded by the Glasgow Woman's Library. As part of my HND I was commissioned to design a book cover for a Sparks biography. I was inspired by renowned pop artist Andy Warhol and his use of portraiture such as in the work "Marilyn Diptych", to similarly create a cover with Spark's image front and centre. Using the 'froissage' methods, I used both physical collaging and digital enhancements in Adobe Photoshop to create this piece.

Project | 02 100 billion stars in an imaginary world

This new media artwork developed a sense to get the viewer to become receptive to their own spirit and imagination's energy.

Because it is more crucial than ever for art to engage in self-reflective dialogue with and shed light on the numerous terrible inequalities of the contemporary world, I strongly believe that the arts have the power to transform us.

The world as we know it may be attempted to be captured and provided in a way we haven't before considered through the use of form, emotion, and awareness through art.
The dancer has a very private, mysterious existence, full of new complexity and ambiguities in new ways that separate them from other spheres of life in terms of economics and politics, the social and the personal. They embed themselves into repressive structures and systems because, in our universe, they have been torn apart too many times. This is why I need a jar filled with 100 billion stars in an imaginary universe more than I need life as an artist.

Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition were used in the

production of this film,  with quick cuts used in editing to create a disorienting effect.
