Project | 03 The Resilient Spirit: Exploring through visual art female strength in the extreme of gender-based violence in India.
The resilient spirit is a series of three images I created in response to the horrific practise of " bride burning " an extreme form of gender-based violence in the Indian subcontinent.
This work was created using Adobe Photoshop, with a mixed media input; incorporating my own paintings, both physical and digital, along with photography.

Project | 04 Human Displacement through Nature
The inspiration for this project came chiefly from Brtish sculptor Andy Goldsworthy. In order to create a natural sculptural piece, I travelled between Glasgow and Edinburgh, to gather the fallen autumnal leaves. I decided to place my final work in Polkemmet Country Park, near the 'Heart of Scotland' approximately halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
I felt compelled to produce this piece by the news of the worsening climate crisis, and the predictions of climate refugees; highlighting that nature and humanity are kept at the heart of climate response
