Hello,
a bit about me:

My name is Deborah "Debbie" Vithiyanandan and I'm an aspiring multimedia artist, specialising in a sound art installation, from Glasgow, Scotland.
I am a disability rights advocate with a Master’s degree in Disability Studies, Rights and Inclusion, and a strong commitment to advancing inclusion, equity, and social justice. My academic work has equipped me with a critical understanding of disability policy, rights-based frameworks, and inclusive practice, informed by both rigorous scholarship and lived experience.
Alongside my studies, I bring a background in creative arts and community engagement, supported by my undergraduate degree in New Media Art
Through incorporating mixed media, including visual art forms such as photography and film into my installation work, I hope to use my very unique place in the world as a child refugee, as a woman of colour and as a disabled artist to create an impact.
