My name is Deborah "Debbie" Vithiyanandan and I'm an aspiring multimedia artist, specialising in a sound art installation, from Glasgow, Scotland. 
I have completed the BA New Media Art (Hons) degree at the University of the West of Scotland with a First Class. ​
My passion for sound art arose from prolonged experimentation and the freedom I felt it embodied. Through incorporating mixed media, including visual art forms such as photography and film into my installation work, I hope to use my very unique place in the world as a child refugee, as a woman of colour and as a disabled artist to create an impact.
